Länsförsäkringar Bank is the fifth largest retail bank in Sweden, with a business volume amounting to SEK 266 billion on June 30, 2012.
The Länsförsäkringar Alliance’s vast customer base and strong brand, combined with local presence and the regional establishments, comprise the foundation for the bank operations. Customers are served by the 23 local regional insurance companies throughout Sweden. The number of branches are 125.
Bank of the Year 2011
Länsförsäkringar was awarded Bank of the Year 2011 by the Swedish private economy magazine Privata Affärer. The award was received from the judgement that Länsförsäkringar is a very successful full-service bank with the most satisfied customers in the retail market.
For the seventh time in eight years Länsförsäkringar has Sweden’s most satisfied bank customers in the retail market according to Swedish Quality Index 2011 and for the seventh consecutive year, Länsförsäkringar has Sweden´s most satisfied retail mortgage customers according to the Swedish Quality Index 2011. The number of customers totals 921,000.
The bank is continuing to grow in all areas. The market share for household and retail mortgage lending was 4.8% and the market share for deposits was 4.1% as of June 30, 2012.
The Länsförsäkringar Alliance comprises the 23 regional insurance companies that jointly own Länsförsäkringar AB, including subsidiaries. Länsförsäkringar Bank and its subsidiaries are a subsidiary of Länsförsäkringar AB.
